Casting Director - Florida

Krista made her stage debut at the age of four on the Island of Maui, appearing in theatre and dancing hula. She graduated from Boston Conservatory after which she began a successful career in Equity theatre performing in Broadway National Tours, regional theaters and cruise ships. Her favorite role was playing Kim Macafee in the National Tour of Bye Bye Birdie opposite 1950’s movie icon, Troy Donahue, in the role of her Dad.

After a successful career in New York City, Krista decided it was time for a change of pace. Where in the world would be the best place to continue her acting career and raise a family? The answer revealed itself to be “the happiest place on Earth” — Orlando, Florida.

After a dozen years in Florida, Krista has built an incredible on-camera resume with several television series appearances, a handful of feature films, and too many commercials, infomercials, and print projects to name. In fact, her first Florida booking came from Mark Mullen and Associates Casting for a commercial role opposite her real life husband. Later on-camera appearances included roles with her two children, as well as repeat bookings with her husband.

Krista’s experience in front of the camera translates perfectly to her work behind the camera as a casting director, Her positive and sunny attitude keeps the talent feeling comfortable and calm, allowing them to give their best performances when auditioning for us.

A performer at heart, Krista makes the most of living in Central Florida, where you can still find her singing, dancing and telling “magical” stories at the biggest and best of Florida’s major theme parks.
